The Dutch Oven is a versatile pot made of cast iron. The so-called pot can be used in the kitchen for cooking and also as a bread pot for baking, but it really comes into its own outdoors.
In addition to being used in the oven, on the stove or hob, the Dutch oven can be used over an open fire or standing directly in the fire to prepare delicious meals. The included base frame can also be used for this, or the pot can simply be hung over the fire by the handle. This makes the cast iron pot useful when barbecuing in the garden or when camping. And since there is no direct contact between the food and the fire, no fat can drip into the embers, which means that no harmful substances are produced.
The Dutch oven is ideal for use in high heat thanks to its material. The cast iron is very durable, distributes the heat evenly and maintains it for a long time. The pot also has strong thermal insulation. Food does not stick to the surface even without a chemical coating.
In addition to the pot with lid, the package also includes a practical lid lifter that can be used to remove the hot lid. There is a slot on the edge of the pot through which a thermometer can be inserted. There are feet on the back of the lid so that the lid can be turned over and used as a grill or frying pan.

Cleaning: Simply clean dirt with soap and water. Remove any excess residue with a cloth. Allow the pot to dry completely. Finally, the pot can be treated with a little oil.
